Kayak Rentals - Orcas Island
Our rental boats are great for any aquatic terrain around Orcas Island. Kayak rentals meet at our office at 414 North Beach Road, Eastsound where you will follow a guide to your equipment. Our most popular 4 hour rental option gives you ample time to paddle down the North Shore of Orcas Island to Point Doughty State Park directly.
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED
Kayak Rentals on Sucia Island need to be booked through our Sucia Ferry here.
Outer Island Excursions -

Minimum 1/2 day (4 hour) rental. Rentals for Orcas Island can be returned early.
Delivery Charges:
Delivery is available to other popular kayaking locations on Orcas Island including Moran State Park, Obstruction Pass State Park, Eastsound, Orcas Ferry Terminal, and Deer Harbor Preserve. You must be present to receive and return your kayak equipment.
Pick ups from our office at 414 North Beach Road in Eastsound are free.
Kayak rentals with a delivery can be booked here
Delivery Fees: $40 per kayak ($80 minimum)
Kayak Rentals include:
Paddles, life jackets, a bilge pump, and a large dry bag (sorry we do not rent spray skirts).
KAYAKERS CANNOT PADDLE ALONE. Youths under the age of 18 must be accompanied by adults.
Any kayaker who rents a kayak with the intention of executing a channel crossing, a multi-day trip, and/or any trip judged by the Outer Island Team to need additional documentation must submit a FLOAT PLAN 72 hours prior to delivery.
We have a 25% non-refundable deposit/cancellation fee. Your trip is transferable until 72 hrs before your departure. No-shows will be charged in full. Outer Island Excursions may cancel trips due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, you will be refunded in full. If you do need to cancel within 72 hrs of departure, you will be charged 100%, unless we are able to resell you tickets.
